Request Data Deletion
mPocket POS stores most business data locally on your device. You can delete that data directly from the app settings screen at any time, or submit a deletion request through our online data deletion form.
How to Delete Your Data
From the app, open the Settings screen using the settings icon in the bottom navigation.
Find and tap the Delete Data option from the settings actions list.
Tap Delete when the data deletion confirmation dialog appears.
App data will be deleted permanently. Your login access will be disabled immediately and account-related data may be fully removed within 90 days.
You may uninstall mPocket POS after clearing storage if you no longer need the app.
What Data Is Removed
When you delete data, the following locally stored data sets are removed from your device:
- Account session data — local login/session details stored on the device
- Store profile — business/store name, address, currency, and setup details
- Inventory records — stock items, quantities, pricing, and item details
- Customer records — customer names, contacts, and balances
- Sales & receipts — transactions, sold items, and receipt history
- Dues & balances — unpaid sales and customer due records
- Expenses — expense entries and expense summaries
- Reports cache — locally generated summaries and cached report data
- Printer preferences — saved Bluetooth printer settings and print preferences
- App settings & cache — notifications cache, preferences, and temporary app data
Important: Clearing app data is permanent for that device and cannot be undone. Make sure you have exported or backed up anything you still need before deleting.
